I can't write enough good things
about Tanya Cauthen and The Belmont Butchery in Richmond
to explain why I always want to go back there..
I can't stop remembering how good it is. 
The shop is in the Upper Fan and walkable from Carytown. 
Or the Museum. 

Artisanal meat.  Boudin! 

Some truly fabulous Lamb Bacon ... Great steaks!
Anyone passing by Richmond should stop at this store with a cooler and a cold pack.  You really can't find this kind of meat "just anywhere."

Gary Gerloff would have loved The Belmont Butchery so much I like to think he's smiling down on all of us from Heaven.

Truly it is not so easy to find wonderful coffee served in a china cup these days.  
And I suppose it's maybe not impossible to find a triple espresso with the requisite and proper amount of crema.  And honey on the fixings bar.

 The Mudhouse IS! : My favorite coffee shop of all time.
